Outdoor Ventures is a YouTube channel that started when we saw a lot of interest in our weekly outings from our closest friends, co-workers, and family when we posted to social media. It inspired people to get outside with their families. During a stint of unemployment in the oil industry, we used that time as an opportunity to travel to places mor... e than a few hours away as our prior schedule limited us to weekend-only trips. We are a family business of three. Ken and I (Cindy) have been married for 17 years and have a 16-year-old son, Braylen, but better known as Cowboy who is currently doing all of the video editing. We recently became an LLC and have been in discussions with our local state representatives here in Oklahoma about the possibility of working alongside them to promote the states parks, recreations, and attractions. Anything outdoorsATV Trails, Fishing, Biking, Camping, Sports, Car Shows, Drones, Horse Back Riding, Remote Control Vehicles and everything in between. According to recent studies, the average American spends only 7% of their time outdoors. Worldwide, most people spend as much as 87% of their time indoors. Kids today only spend an average of 4-7 minutes outdoors while spending an average of 7.5 hours on electronics. As a result, they are facing increased feelings of loneliness and spending less time with in-person interactions. Spending time outdoors a few times a week boosts your energy, stabilizes your mood, restores your focus, helps with social pressures and valuing relationships, something our world truly needs right now. Our family has the enthusiasm and ability to make this change. Allow us to inspire you to get outdoors and spend time making memories with family and friends.
