OutBreak is a unique not-for-profit consulting company based on a radical notion: that the same lawyers who sue on behalf of victims of foodborne illness are best suited to help responsible companies with their food safety challenges. Since that time, the lawyers have given speeches at meetings and annual education conferences for a long list of industry groups, including the National Restaurant Association and the American Meat Association. In recent years, OutBreak presenters have expanded the scope of their talks to include topics appropriate for meetings of organizations such as environmental health associations and FDA-sponsored Regional Retail Food Seminars.
