OTL Storage Equipment Co.Ltd.("OTL Systems") was founded in March 1996 by Mr.John C.Chan founder and Chairman of Oriental Technology Limited of Hong Kong as part of his long term investment strategy in China. Mr.Chan identified in the early 1990's that the strong and sustained economic development in China would create strong demand pulls for both... the automotive and the logistics industries and focused OTL's China investment programme in these two fronts. OTL obtained the co-operation and technical assistance of Fritz Schafer GmbH of Germany, a leading manufacturer of logistics products, in the setting up of OTL Systems and during the first 30 months of operations. OTL Systems' factory is built on a 33,000 square metre site in the Economic and Technology Development Zone of Zhenjiang in the Yangtze River Delta. The facility is equipped with sophisticated machinery, which enables OTL Systems to be at the forefront of storage solutions both in product quality and development. OTL Systems' products were originally designed and specified by Fritz Schafer according to European standards. The product range and production technology have been continuously enhanced and refined in anticipation of rising customer demands and to stay ahead of the competition. The Company now provides tailor-made total storage solutions ranging from the light duty modular shelving systems to the medium duty longspan, all variations of adjustable pallet racking systems(APR), the automated storage and retrieval systems(AS/RS), the cantilever racking systems and the live storage systems. Its service includes project design, manufacturing, installation, after sales service and general consultancy on storage solutions.
