The Ortho Tool software purchase was the best investment that I ever made practicing ortho-K along with the trial set to define the lens design. I have been using Orthotool for the past few years for most of my initial Ortho-K fitting and the success rate improved in a great deal when the diagnostic fitting was incorporated. It is a great tool as a learning guide also and I do play around with the parameters to determine the changes in tear film profile. The tear film profile is a great way to visualize the tear volume under the complex lens design and allows to manipulate all the curves for any changes. I have been using this software for the aspheric and the multifocal designs also.
