OrthoMedix opened its lab facilities at the Southvale Medical Plaza in 1992 where we operated until an unfortunate building fire in March 2009 that necessitated a move our new, larger facilities at 1749 St. Laurent Blvd. The ultimate goal in establishing OrthoMedix was to respond to a growing need for a professional establishment to fit and manufac... ture orthopaedic and orthotic devices and appliances in the Ottawa (Canada) area. Our technicians offer clients over 60 years combined experience in the orthotic and orthopaedic fields. Our range of services and products has increased dramatically with acquired experience, recommendations and requests from health care professionals and patients. Our facility has grown from under 1000 square feet of space to more than 3000 square feet over the years. Our patient base numbers over 12000 patients.
