Ornestation Mors

The company was founded in 1974 by Martin Markussen. In 1991 Martin's sons Andreas, Poul and Arne Markussen took over the Ornestation. On June 1, 2018, another change of ownership occurred and today it is Andreas and Arne's children who have taken over ownership, which means that the circle of owners today consists of Johnny, Thomas, Michael, Kenne... th, Henrik and Maria Markussen. In this way, the company continues to be family owned, just as it has been for more than 45 years. "We participate in the entire workflow at the station. This means that we are constantly feeling what is happening, and we therefore feel that we are able to provide our customers with the service they deserve ". There are currently 75 full-time employees and 20 part-time employees. Ornestation Mors today delivers approx. 28% of semen sales in Denmark. The semen is delivered from boars that come from some of the world's best breeding companies, DanBred, Topigs Norsvin and Danish Genetics.
