Oregon Outreach

We are Oregon Outreach Inc., a private non-profit organization which has provided alternative education programs to at-risk youth in the Portland area for over 25 years! We contract with school districts to provide proficiency-based education in a manner that meets the individual needs of all students. We are striving to meet the gold standard for... students who require more structured learning environments and individualized instruction. Our schools give students the highest level of educational services and programs, and we believe that alternative education can be a leader for regular education! We also believe that all students learn in unique ways and we develop learning opportunities that address their individual needs. We have programs and services that are found in most public school districts and. For example, our schools incorporate the following programs: Response to Intervention Positive Behavior Intervention Support(PBIS) Special Education support Read 180 classes GED classes and ceritification Credit Recovery Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) Academic Counseling Transitional Services Life Skills training Preparation to enter college and/or employment in the 21st century economy Student Community outreach- Feeding the homeless and work at the Portland Rescue Mission Emotional and behavioral support and Counseling services community through service learning. Oregon Outreach is proud to announce that we had one of our most succesful graduations in recent history. Among our three educational programs, we had a total of 38 graduates! Most, if not all, of these students would not have received a diploma or GED certificate without our schools. Staff, students and parents celabrated the success of all involved. We are proud of all our students, and believe that we are fulfilling our mission of providing a quality education for youth who have not previously achieved academic success.
