Orchid Education

Orchid Education is an international education venture established in 2010 by entrepreneurs in the UK. Its aim is to meet the growing demand for high quality education programmes and quality assurance capability, learning resources as well as youth activities and development. The venture aims to fulfill these targets in Egypt, Africa and some count... ries in the Middle East. Orchid Education Limited in the UK is the focal point for identifying, developing and maintaining partnerships with education providers, such as colleges, NGOs, learning resource companies and universities. These partnerships will work towards delivering a range of their education and learning services and resources with which to meet the demand of the huge markets in the region. Each of these partnerships is guaranteed through Orchid Education's Quality Assurance role over the delivery, distribution and follows up on the programmes, products or services within the markets in the region; Africa and the Middle East. The regional operations centre is in Egypt, (Egypt being the most centralised hub with facilitated access to and from surrounding countries). It is here in Egypt that the first of delivery capability has been established through local partners and where the Quality Assurance role of Orchid Education is applied. Plans to replicate this Quality Assurance/delivery model by establishing several more operational centres, in Jordan, Sudan and other countries, during the coming months, have already been set in motion. The Chief Executive Officer, Iten El Orabi, oversees all the operations and implementation procedures from the Egyptian facility, ensuring that effective strategic and operational procedures and organisation capability are in place, whilst enabling fast paced agreements to be reached with the UK organisations.
