DR. MICHAEL HARMS has been a practicing Optometrist for over 25 years. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa, Dr. Harms completed his training and acquired his licensing from the Illinois College of Optometry. In the late 1990s, Dr. Harms was hired on as the staff doctor at Optique. Dr. Harms was mentored by a Master Optician, honin... g and perfecting his skills as an Optician. Dr. Harms bought the practice in 1999. To this day he maintains the same tradition of excellence brought over by the Master Optician. He takes great joy in being the eye care provider to so many Winnetka and North Shore families. CLARA WALKER joined us in April 2018. She comes to us with 4 years of experience in optical and is certified by the American Board of Opticianry. Her past experience was focused in wholesale and retail jewelry and accessories sales, management and the arts. Glasses are like jewelry, an accessory to add to your wardrobe, and she would love to help you find a pair that you want to wear everyday. BRIAN CHAPPELL joined us in August 2018. He has 24+ years of experience as an optician and has worked a several optical offices throughout the North Shore. Brian cuts most of the lenses in our in-house lab and has a keen eye for details. We've created a new concept store featuring a chic design with a modern flare. This new store began with the idea that one size does not fit all.
