Open Arms Agency

The Open Arms Agency was founded in 1999 to address the growing need for loving homes and safe environments for the children in our community that have been hurt, neglected and abused. We believe every child has the intrinsic right to have their basic needs met in a respectful, supportive and loving manner. Families deserve every reasonable opportu... nity to preserve their family unit. Recognizing that the family is the foundation of our community, we believe that children who live in nurturing, stable environments will mature into healthy, productive members of society. The Open Arms Agency is comprised of caring individuals dedicated to restoring humanity in children that need unconditional love, consistency, structure and open arms. The Open Arms Agency seeks and utilizes highly skilled, loving foster parents that have a genuine compassion for the children they care for. It is this compassion that is essential to the restoration of humanity in the children that The Open Arms Agency serves. The Open Arms Agency is a small, highly individualized child placing agency that offers individual therapeutic treatment for each child cared for by our foster families. Our foster families are comprised of the very best, supportive and most highly trained foster parents. The Open Arms Agency focuses on finding homes for children in Corpus Christi and the surrounding area, as well the Central Texas region. This allows us to focus our efforts on supporting local foster children and local foster families.Read More
