Currently OP-SEED is a home of more than 1000 employees with an annual turnover of 2,232 million BDT (US$ 27 million, as of December 2017). We are the first LED (Light Emitting Diode) factory in Bangladesh and our principle products are the component parts for vending machines using full of LED Lamps, LED Bulbs, Beam and Downlights, Fluorescent Tub... es, Multi-color Chip LED Lamps and etc. which are using eco-friendly LED and other electronic components like Current Sensors and Piezoelectric Transformers. Over the years, the company has invested for lining up a wide range of facilities to manufacture LED incorporating products using a system that is fully integrated from molding to bonding, SMT to assembly which include state-of-the art flexible ultra-speed multiple die bonders, wire bonders, transfer molding, dicing, test handler, and taping for all important processes, conducted in a high efficient clean rooms that implemented through out to ensure superior quality. The facilities also include silicon molding and plastic injection molding machines, pipe molding for tubes for florescent lamps. We have Chip Mounters (SMT) that featuring original circuit designs to mount various kinds of SMT components and manufacturing high value-added application products with full multi automation line up to keep pace with new innovation to the needs and demands of customers. In Japan there are 5.6 million vending machines for drinks and 234,000 vending machines for cigarettes now. We, OP-SEED Company (BD) Ltd. have 90% market share for drinks and 100% for cigarettes. They have dustproof, waterproof and shock resistant buttons which are now being manufactured in here, OP-SEED Company (BD) Ltd.
