There are young adults in our community who dont have a safe place to sleep at night. They are couch-surfing, living in cars and staying in unsafe places. They are trying to hide their homelessness. But we see them. And we are responding by creating safe, affordable, transitional, supportive housing in the southwest suburbs. No one else is doing th... is for this segment of the market single adults age 18 - 24 who do not have children. We opened Onward House in Eden Prairie in November 2018. It offers each resident comfortable community space, a private bedroom and the support they need to move forward with their lives like finding and maintaining a job they like, completing or enrolling in school, keeping their living space clean, managing a budget and nurturing relationships.
