One Beat PR started out in 2011 as a solo operation run by Liv Willars, working on successful campaigns for the likes of White Denim, Garbage, Au Revoir Simone, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Martha Wainwright, Chet Faker, Stealing Sheep, Deptford Goth, Mark Lanegan, Wild Nothing, My Morning Jacket, Sauna Youth, and The Antlers. Having played in band... s, run an indie music magazine, and with a background working in record shops and at digital music platforms, Liv wanted One Beat to be approachable and accessible to all artists and labels. From household names, to those releasing their first singles, we love working with artists and music we really care about. Senior publicist Luke Twyman joined One Beat in 2018, one of the co-founders of the Sheffield DIY venue and label, The Audacious Art Experiment, also working as a promoter and artist manager. In recent years, our clients have included Sheer Mag, Ezra Furman, Frankie Cosmos, Shopping, Los Campesinos!, Calvin Johnson, Housewives, Amber Arcades, Modern Nature, Beach Fossils, Cloud Nothings, OMNI, The Tallest Man On Earth, Trash Kit, and Gwenno.
