Alan McSeveny is the creator of the Maths Builder program. As Australias leading author of maths textbooks, Alan has over 100 titles to his credit. He is head writer for the Signpost Mathematics textbooks (Levels 1-10) which lead the Australian NSW Curriculum and have been well received in Queensland and Victoria. Signpost books are also used in Ab... u Dhabi public schools and International Baccalaureate schools. Alan is founder and managing director of On Your Mark Publishing Pty Ltd, publishing editor of the 'On Your Mark Maths' textbooks and 'On Your Mark Maths Mentals, Fun and Games' books, and author of the Seatee storybooks and Worksheets. Before embarking on his career as writer and publisher, Alan taught mathematics for 25 years. Three of his five children are also teachers. Rachel McSeveny is a primary school teacher and part of the education writing team for Maths Builder. She is author of 24 mathematics textbooks and eight Maths Builder video tutorials. Rachel is Alan McSevenys daughter. Cheryl Beard taught primary and infant school children for 30 years and was an assistant principal for 16 years before she joined the On Your Mark Publishing team as an education writer and consultant. Cheryl is author of 18 textbooks, including the On Your Mark Maths textbooks and Fun & Games homework books, and a designer of interactive games for School Mastery Program. Michael Barter is creator of the wonderful cartoons that give Maths Builder its life and personality.
