Omega Point Education, LLC., is an organization committed to providing environments that support individuals and organizations to realize their full potential. "Omega Point" is a term coined by French priest and paleontologist, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, who believed that our human destiny is moving towards the "Omega Point", the moment in time wh... en a critical mass of awakened consciousness is achieved and the world is transformed. This time signifies the fulfillment of human evolution, the awakening of the collective. The mission of Omega Point Education, LLC., is to serve as a vehicle for the awakening of human consciousness using the Breakthrough Learning Seminar Series educational model. The Breakthrough Learning Seminar Series is a curriculum of adult education, based upon an experiential or "whole brain" learning model. The roots of this type of learning date back to the late 1940's at the National Training Laboratories in Bethesda, MD., There, researchers discovered that humans learn more effectively when both right and left brain hemispheres are engaged rather than confining input to the left brain only, as commonly used in traditional educational models in public and private schools. By the early 1970's this approach to learning was combined with some of the world's oldest and most revered wisdom traditions, philosophies, psychology and spirituality to produce the kind of learning environment found today in the Breakthrough Learning Seminar Series. Today, over 2 million people, in countries all over the world, have experienced this learning model. We believe that learning is a life-long process.
