Oldtimers Foundation

Oldtimers Foundation provides home delivered meals to seniors who are homebound as a result of an illness or a disability. In our LA County program, we delivered meals to almost 900 individuals who were not able to provide meals for themselves. This reflects an increase of more than 20% from the year prior. Our services enable seniors to live indep... endently in their homes and out of institutionalized care. We operate both hot and frozen delivery routes throughout the Southeast Los Angeles and northwest San Bernardino Counties. Our staff members not only provide a nutritiously balanced meal, but also seek to address other underlying needs of our seniors through regular telephone and in-home assessments. Consequently assessments are crucial in identifying needs for referrals and additional assistance. In many cases, our staff members are the only interaction some seniors have outside of their homes.
