A new begining for OldProp products. A word from Keven Ménard, Co-Founder of OldProp Solutions inc. First of all, thank you for purchasing from OldProp in the past. It is absolutely incredible to me that I am able to do what I love for a living and be successful at it because of you. It is really hard to make software that people love to use everyd... ay and it's fair to say that ChasePlane along with the Immersion products hit that mark really well. Truth be told, I built this for myself, first and foremost. You might have noticed that development has slowed down in the past 2 years. The reason for this is that my head has been elsewhere for a while. The OldProp company was formed by 2 persons and remained that way for 5 years. Our vision of the future changed throughout those years. While my partner was aiming towards the Airlines market for software development, I've always been close to and wanted to continue in the flight simulation space. For that reason, I decided to take control over the company and continue in my line of work. Taking over a company of this scale is not easy and cannot be done alone. During the past 2 years, I have been working with Edson Soriano (from TheSkyLounge.tv ) on a project called The Skypark ( Learn more about it here ). It became clear that his vision and mine were aligned on what a flight simulation development company should be. Parallel 42 was formed out of this friendship in 2018 for the sole purpose of carrying The Skypark and all the future ideas we would have inside and outside the flight simulation space. During that time, development on the OldProp side had slowed down dramatically. It was clear that something had to be done and some decisions needed to be taken. Decide we did.
