Oldminster is part of a Group of companies with twenty five years experience of working on heritage projects. We understand the complexities of working on listed buildings and have experience of Grade 1, Grade 2* and Grade 2 properties as well as Scheduled Ancient Monuments. We work closely with key stakeholders and grant funders in the sector such... as English Heritage, Architectural Heritage Fund, Heritage Lottery Fund, Victorian Society, Georgian Society, and The Country House Foundation. We understand their objectives and requirements and can help our Clients realise their own plans within what can be a very complex framework of legislation and funding criteria. The vast majority of our work is within the 'Third Sector', working for building preservation trusts, community groups, faith groups and charities. Our largest Client remains the Church of England. However, we are also very adept at working with commercial clients or private individuals who find themselves having to deal with a listed building as part of a larger project or as their private residence. We have completed a number of projects where a combination of contemporary design interventions and older restored elements has been successfully achieved.
