I am Elaine and my husband's name is Blair. We own and operate The Olde Time Country Store - a unique Country Shopping Experience . It is our hope The Olde Time Country Store will remind you of the past and just how dear to our hearts are the memories of childhood. I love my memories! Perhaps you can relate to some of them: I remember the house where I was born. The sound of a warm spring rain on the tin roof, the wide front porch protecting us from the intense sun of summer, the rustling leaves of autumn. What I remember most is sledding down the hill behind the house and catching snowflakes on my tongue as they drifted from the sky. Then I would run inside to the warmth of the cook stove. I could smell Grandma's chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven. We would sit at the old scrub top table and dip our cookies into steaming cups of hot cocoa. As I recall these memories, I can actually see Grandma's shawl tossed over the back of her favorite rocker, the pine corner cupboard where Grandma stored her dishes, the shelf above the dry sink which held her crocks, tin ware and oil lamps.
