About Old Fashioned Sweets
Theresa with her four kids: Alanna, Brett, Julie and Andrew along with her husband Barry and her father George Theresa Kerstein and her son, Andrew Kerstein, are the daughter and grandson of George and Theresa Brunslik, founders of the original Old Fashioned Candies in Chicago. Theresa and her family have over forty years of experience creating decadent chocolate creations. Previously, Theresa owned Old Fashioned Candies in Westchester, IL though closed the store to focus on raising her family. While her kids were in school she worked part time at her family's store in Berwyn. Once her youngest child began college, Theresa decided it was time for her to again fulfill her dreams of having her own candy store. Theresa, her sister Karyn, and son Andrew have worked together to establish Old Fashioned Sweets, using old family recipes and adding creative new ideas.Explore more
