At Okawara, we are developing business through tie-ups and collaborations with local partners in a range of overseas markets using Japan as our base, from where we can put our expertise and experience to work in a variety of areas. Local partners are familiar with local conditions, and by working closely with them we can provide our customers with the highest levels of assurance and reliability. We are also able to adopt a more flexible approach to design and development better able to adapt to the changing needs of different markets. Okawara has always been committed to ongoing product improvement and enhancement to meet the needs of the marketplace. Often this involves making a full prototype before moving onto design and manufacture of the actual product. This approach has generated for us a wealth of experience and a technology base by which we cater to an increasingly diverse and complex range of market demands. From a purely global perspective, it may seem more efficient to supply general-purpose products made to a single standard set of specifications. But our customers use our products in different ways and therefore have differing requirements.
