OKane Consultants Inc. was formed in 1993 by Mr. Terry OKane, P.Eng. to serve the minerals industry with a primary focus on preliminary and detailed feasibility studies. Mr. Mike OKane, P.Eng, opened the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan office of OKane Consultants in 1996. The Saskatoon office initially focused solely on mine waste cover system design and a... pplying fundamental research on unsaturated zone hydrology to practical problems. Projects since 2000 have included all aspects of mine closure as OKane Consultants Inc. have expanded their expertise and employee base while also collaborating with world leading experts possessing complementary skills. In addition, OKane Consultants have conducted applied research to demonstrate the applicability of unsaturated zone hydrology to heap leach design and operation.
