We are looking for an ambitious, hardworking resident structural engineerfor work in Ottawa on a large multi-disciplinary project. French language and professional registration with Professional Engineers Ontario or Quebec Order of Engineers would be a strong asset. The successful candidate for this challenging position will have: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience functioning as construction manager or resident engineer; Ability to understand complex contract documents including plans and specifications; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Experience in contract administration and site review; Demonstrated organizational, administrative, and decision making skills; Experience in structural engineering design of buildings; High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Project, MSWord, Excel); Knowledge of AutoCAD; Health and safety training; Ability to pass security background check.
