Ohio Family Practice

Practice History - Ohio Family Practice Centers has a long and rich history in the community. Always located in Fairlawn, this practice was founded in the early 1970's by Dr. John Clarke. His hard work and dedication to his patients allowed the practice to grow even when he served in the Gulf War. Dr. Sabin joined in 2000, and Dr. Dom Dera in 2001.... In 2004, they took over the practice. Dr. Cajigas joined in 2008. Staff - We have an outstanding staff, and some employees have worked for the practice for well over 20 years. Kathy, our office manager, is the person to contact for any major problems or concerns. Lisa is the billing manager and can handle even the most complex billing issue. From our MA's to our administrative staff, our goal is to serve you. Teaching - We have a long history of teaching students across all healthcare disciplines: medical students, medical assistant students, physician assistant students, nurse practitioner students, and medical billing students. We have close working relationships with NEOMED, Summa Health System, and the University of Akron. Of course, our patients' wants come first, and we respect your decision to not allow students be involved in your care should you decide that. EMR - January 8, 2007 was a landmark day in the history of this practice, as that's the day we began our conversion from paper chart to a completely paperless electronic medical record (EMR).
