About Octopus Coffee
The Octopus Kiosk was originally located on Orchard Mesa. Looking to bring upscale drinks and a fun, inclusive atmosphere to Grand Junction, Octopus Coffee launched in September 2013 on the side of Highway 50 as a Drive-Thru and Walk-Up kiosk. We spent a winter soaking in the views and making friends and wishing we had better food to offer our hungry patrons. In the fall of 2014, we found a small shop on Horizon Drive near the I-70 off ramp. Only 900 square feet, this became our first cafe, with indoor seating and a kitchen-big enough to add our own bakery to compliment our fabulous beverage menu. We opened Horizon Drive on February 4th, 2015 and immediately became famous for our breakfast burritos and fresh lunch options. In 2018 we looked to the mountains for a place to grow and opened another Octopus Coffee in Crested Butte.
