On Call Internet Services Ltd.® is a company backed by experience. The Management team alone has over 19 years of combined experience in the field of technology. With our ability to adapt quickly to the changes in technology and in the marketplace, the Management Team has escalated OCIS from being one of many locally owned and operated ISPs in Kaml... oops, Merritt, Logan Lake and area, to being only one. OCIS offers an array of Internet services such as High-speed Wireless and ADSL access, Digital Dial-Up, Fibre Connectivity, Custom Built SPAM Protected Email, Website Hosting, Storage and Design, Network Design Solutions, Commercial Server Parks, Local Area Networks, and off-site backups. Since our inception in September of 1997 the staffing policy has been to make sure that clients will benefit from the most experienced, talented people that can be found using and contributing to the technologies of today. We currently have 15 full-time staff and contract employees including a certified Tower Climber, certified Wireless Network Technician and certified Microsoft Technician on staff. Our Business Development & Operations Manager has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Simon Fraser University and the Network Administrator has a CSOM Diploma from the University College of the Cariboo, now known as Thompson Rivers University. OCIS also has a handful of local sub-trades available for assistance with High-Speed Internet Installations, Off-Site Technical Support and Network Development & Support Services. Unlimited access to these supporting businesses enables OCIS to provide fast and responsive support to all of our customers. Today we have offices located in Kamloops, Merritt, Chase, Logan Lake and the North Shuswap and are in the planning phases of opening offices elsewhere in the BC Interior.
