Spiro Argyros is one of Melbourne's largest Fish wholesalers based in the Melbourne Seafood Centre. In 1985 Spiro began working with his father and uncle in the Melbourne markets, and driving from port to port dealing with fisherman directly. With hard work and a passion for Seafood in 1994 Spiro became the proud owner of S&J seafood's. It was then... S&J then started to become well known in the wholesale industry, sourcing fish and crustaceans all across Australia. Fish is sourced direct from Lakes Entrance, Portland, Eden, Western Australia, South Australia, Coffs Harbour, Queensland and many more Ports across Australia, with annual sales of over 1.4 million kilos. In 2013 Spiro joined with Anesti Eddie Totikidis, who is one of Australia's best Seafood retailers. Anesti a Chef with a passion for Seafood has owned and operated Melbourne's best Seafood retail stores, and has expert knowledge on product development for restaurant, retail and commercial use and storage of Seafood. Together in 2013 the they opened Eat Fish Pty Ltd, and were awarded by the Victorian Fisheries for The Best Retailer Award.
