Oblates is a religious community of women, founded in 1937 by the Venerable Father Félix de Jess Rougier, M.Sp.S. Oblates practice a "Spirituality of the Cross" which teaches that Oblates is saved by love alone. Oblates's order supports the priesthood in all its forms, through work in seminaries, in diocesan offices, and parishes. Oblates has houses in the United States, in Menlo Park, CA (near San Francisco), New York, NY, Chicago, IL and Mundelein, IL. Oblates also have houses thoughout Mexico and a house in Rome, Italy.
