ObjectVenture Inc. was founded in August 2000 to deliver advanced solutions for the enterprise developer. We are dedicated to creating cutting-edge Java2, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and reusable object technology. Currently we are working on technology that finally delivers on the promise of true object reuse. We recently introduced PCML (Pattern and Component Markup Language), a specification that allows patterns at any level of abstraction to be expressed in a tangible, standard format. By leveraging the openness and flexibility of XML, this technology enables architects and developers to easily and effectively describe, package, exchange and extend their own patterns as well as those created by others. At the same time, tool and repository providers are empowered to automate much of this process. ObjectAssembler, our development environment, is the most powerful J2EE tool available. Unlike other development products, it is a bi-directional tool that, using our IntelliSynch technology, recognizes what developers are doing as they work to maintain real time synchronization between the source code and its visual representation as well as perform real-time validation on newly created or modified code. It is also one of the first development tools to support patterns and integrate the Sun Java Center Pattern Catalog. This allows architects to define objects and their interactions at a high level, which can later be implemented by developers. ObjectAssembler is built on top of a Virtual IDE (VIDE) that allows us to integrate into any Java IDE with minimal effort.
