In the private-sector, Oakley Construction has completed projects for Commonwealth Edison (as a subcontractor to the Edward Gray Corporation), Illinois Bell (now Ameritech), and Peoples Gas Light and Coke Company. Oakley's emphasis in construction is in site improvements, concrete, masonry and carpentry work, also interior remodeling.
