NY Carousel was founded on the belief that a family should be able to have classic, amusement park fun right near home! We have been determined to bring an amusement park experience to metropolitan neighborhoods that don't have easy access to their own amusement park. This is why our operations are currently found in New York City, Boston, and Balt... imore. We believe that the opportunity to have safe, family fun only enhances the fabric of a community and brings it closer together. NY Carousel, the amusement park operations division of the Ride Entertainment Group (www.RideEntertainment.com), was created in 2012 upon winning a request for proposals issued by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation in to operate the Flushing Meadows-Corona Park Carousel and the Forest Park Carousel. We are proud to operate and maintain these two jewels of New York City. What started as running two rides has grown into overseeing two amusement parks and three carousels along the East Coast with more to come.
