It is the new direction of a 60-year old medical device company called S&S X-Ray Products, Inc. Started by Harold Shoenfeld in Brooklyn, NY, S&S became the worldwide leader in film-based x-ray accessories, including Illuminators, Motorized Viewers, and more. S&S soon expanded into medical carts and cabinets for various applications throughout the hospital, and was one of the first companies to introduce the electronic Medcart.
