However, this does not remove the need for continuous wound monitoring. Continuous wound monitoring after discharge is made possible with remote wound monitoring (RWM). RWM relies on caregivers, such as patient's family, to gather wound data at dressing changes and report it to wound care professionals to evaluate the treatment plan.
