About Not Too Shabby

As a young person, Bobbi Eddy always dreamed of having a store. She wanted a place where she could gather things she loved and create an environment where people could shop and feel happy. In 2005, almost by accident, she came across a for sale listing for a small store in the Folsom Historic District that sold painted furniture and vintage decor. She and her partner Pam decided to take the plunge and purchased Not Too Shabby and, as they say, the rest is history. Bobbi had rescued, repaired, repurposed and painted old furniture for much of her life. In 2011, Bobbi was approached to consider this strange paint that did not require extensive prep to useno sanding, no stripping, no primingAnnie Sloan Chalk Paint®. Turns out it was even better than advertised and Not Too Shabby went from a really cute home decor, gift, and painted vintage furniture store to one that included all that AND Chalk Paint® AND classes on how to use the paint.
