Northwest Physical Therapy went through its own transformation in 2004 where we transformed an old car repair garage into the beautiful therapy center you see today. We are proud of creating not only a state of the art therapy center but also a living work of art for both our patients and community to enjoy. The mural has been a part of Cle Elums downtown landscape for decades, perhaps as long as a century. Craig Pigeon, owner and NWPT founder, bought the property in 2002. He says, I think it was painted in the early 1900's, probably some time between 1910 and 1920. Bull Durham Smoking Tobacco, was a world-famous brand of loose-leaf tobacco that originated around the 1850s. Back in the 1800's, and even up until the 1940's or so, before billboards became a common sight along the countrys roads and highways, advertisements often were painted on the sides of buildings.
