North Devon Teaching School Alliance

The North Devon Teaching School Alliance is totally committed to school improvement. We have a proven track record spanning more than 4 years working with other schools and the capacity and integrity to undertake support for schools in challenging circumstances. This area of work is developed through using our Senior System Leaders and Specialists... Leaders of Education from a wide range of schools from EYFS to Key Stage 4. They have worked with a range of schools from Special Measures to Outstanding in different contexts; rural to urban. We also work with the Local Authority and other Alliances to provide a better quality of service to individual schools. We are equipped to providing a personalized, robust support packages ranging a single visit, work designated from a term to a year with individual or multiple SLEs being involved depending on need. Current commitments for example are with Literacy Leaders, School Leadership support, improving teaching and lesson observations and feedback and audits and whole school improvement. Within our Alliance we have a National Leader of Education, a National Leader of Governance, several Local Leaders of Education and currently 12 Specialist Leaders of education and very experienced Curriculum Leaders covering all phases of education.
