Norscot Joinery Limited is a family owned business and was established in 1984 by surveyor Peter Body and his wife Teda. These days they are ably assisted by their sons Ian and John-Paul and co-directors Callum Grant, Jason Fraser and Carrie Body. The Company's headquarters are its Bower Workshops in Caithness where it owns some 25,000 square feet... of modern factory, and showroom. The factory is equipped with sophisticated computer controlled machinery which, together with the skilled workforce, produces the widest range of building components and related products available from a single source anywhere in Scotland. Our product range includes a range of timber frame kit homes; made-to-measure windows, doors, patios and conservatories in redwood, hardwood and either white, rosewood or golden oak uPVC: the Design 5 timber / aluminium composite window system and sliding mirror doors system. Our uPVC windows also carry the BM Trada Q-Mark third party accreditation. To promote and distribute our products outwith Caithness, we own a purpose built showroom, sales office and storage facility on the Carse Industrial Estate in Inverness. Our customer base comes from the domestic, retail, trade and public market sectors from the Shetland Isles in the north to the central belt in the South and from the Outer Hebrides in the west to Aberdeen in the east. We currently employ over 50 staff and generate an annual turnover in excess of £4 million. Our quality assurance scheme is accredited to the internationally recognised ISO 9001 standard.
