Norri Distributing

Norri Distributing Company, Inc. was founded in 1951 by Eric Norri. Eric purchased the Northeast St. Louis County Fitger's Beer distributorship from Cuppoletti Beverage. Eric was the sole employee at that time. Eric sold Fitger's beer until 1965 when he acquired Miller Beer distributorship from Phillip Morris. Eric sold both companies' brands until... 1981 when his 2 sons, Bob and Eric Jr. purchased his business. Eric Jr. and Bob in 1984, purchased the Northwest portion of St. Louis County and Itasca County Miller Brewing Company brands from Zbacnik Distributing in Hibbing, MN in 1984. Eric Jr. and Bob both ran the company until 1995 when Bob and wife, Nancee bought Eric's shares of the Company. In December 2011, Norri Distributing purchased a variety brands and territories from Bartoletti Beverage of Virginia, MN and in December of 2014, Norri Distributing purchased the brands and territory of Mahnich Distributing Company of Eveleth, MN. Today, Norri Distributing distributes a variety of beers, sodas, and water in Lake of the Woods, St. Louis, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, Cass and Aitkin counties.
