NOCECO

The NEGROS OCCIDENTAL ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE (NOCECO) was organized on February 25, 1978 by virtue of Presidential Decree 269 (PD 269). Its initial capital of P30.734M was loaned from the National Electrification Administration (NEA) . It covers 13 towns , 4 cities and 308 barangays in the southern part of Negros Occidental. The NOCECO Board of Direc... tors are elected by the member-consumers by district/town coverage representation. The board is accountable for the business operations and corporate affairs of the cooperative. It is primarily responsible in formulating and approving policies and plans as well as policy guidelines for the Management.
