NMR Propane was originally established by Norm and Maureen Rooke and was purchased in 1994 by Stephen and Jackie Swainson to become NMR Propane(1994) LTD. Stephen serves as the company President. NMR's shop is located on an acreage 4 miles south of Sylvan Lake on HWY 781 and ¾ mile west on Township Road 381. We operate 3 propane trucks and 1 picker... truck for tank movements. We are the exclusive trucking arm of the Blindman Valley Propane Co-op and service residential and Industrial customers within a 75 mile radius of Eckville. We operate as a small employer with 2 full-time and 1 permanent part-time employees. Over the past 18 years NMR has grown with an intense focus on excellent customer service. As the trucking arm of the Blindman Valley Propane Co-op, NMR has had a role in the growth of BVP as well. Working together has helped both businesses grow and the relationship has been beneficial for both.
