The National Lacquer and Paint Products Company, Limited was founded in 1932 by two major founders, Mr. A. J. Ben and Mr. Harry J. Lowe together with five fellow townsmen in Hong Kong. With a glorious history of over 80 years, "Camelpaint" has become a household name and renowned brand in the paint and coatings industry in Hong Kong. In the late 1970's, we had diversified our business in the property development sector and Blocks I, II and III of Camelpaint Buildings were completed in the 1980's. In 2002, we have converted our headquarter, the 7-storey factory building to commercial usage and renamed as Camelpaint Centre, being the pioneer of revitalization of industrial buildings in Kwun Tong. 2011 was a historical milestone for us. DGL Camel International Limited was set up in November 2011, which was a merge of our paint business with DGL International, a subsidiary in Hong Kong of DuluxGroup Limited in Australia.
