My purpose is twofold: To help individuals find their ideal career opportunity, one which plays to their strengths, values and long term career aspirations. To help businesses reduce their people issues and enhance the contribution their teams make to the profitability of the business, through motivational performance management practices and solut... ions that engage the employee. Prior to setting up NJHR Associates Ltd, I spent over 24 years developing my generalist HR experience, working in both operational and project based roles. I have worked with senior leadership teams and managers across several sectors including financial services, NHS and retail. Whilst working with businesses, my passion has always been in providing managers with the tools to motivate their teams. Simplicity and collaboration are values that enabled me to deliver solutions that were fit for the business and its people. I have worked with SMEs and larger organisations to introduce new performance and behavioural frameworks, and supported one organisation to achieve the 'Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For' accolade. I have also led various organisational restructures, including TUPE, and delivered supporting outplacement programmes to help employees at risk of redundancy gain the confidence to secure their next career opportunity. People are an organisation's biggest asset and HR has a key role to play by partnering with the business to make changes that count. My enthusiasm for HR being a change maker extends through my role as committee member for the West Yorkshire CIPD Branch, and also mentor for CIPD members and students taking their HR Master qualifications.
