Nightstand Creations Inc. was established in 1999 by Randy Rossilli, Jr., who, at that time, was enjoying a successful career in public education. Throughout his career in education, encompassing nearly every facet of the profession, Randy recognized the increasing influence of media (music, TV, Videos, Computers, the Internet, etc.) on the youth a... nd families he was making connections with daily. As a fan of family programming, and already supplementing his income as a musician/entertainer, he decided to begin part-time developing properties for families that he hoped would educate, entertain, and inspire. Six years later, now a father of two girls, Randy, prompted by his wife, decided to leave public education and to dedicate himself to the mission of creating wholesome family entertainment through Nightstand Creations, Inc. Randy quickly assembled an advisory committee of child development professionals including a social worker, child psychologist, speech pathologist, teacher of the handicapped, preschool teacher, drama teacher, English teacher, and marketing professionals. This committee ensures that the products and programs developed by Nightstand Creations, Inc. continue to meet the needs of every young learner and unique family unit. Summer 2005 marked the first official release from Nightstand Creations, through the audio CD Randy Rossilli, Jr. - Songs From My Backyard. This CD is the companion to the televison/DVD offering released in the fall of 2005 My Backyard.
