About Nick Ruhlman
Born and raised in Puerto Rico. Nick started his art career while in University and decide to take some time off to go to Penland Craft School in North Carolina. He studied with Finn Lynggaard, one of the studio glass pioneers, and decided this is what he wanted to do with his life. 6 years later, he was fortunate enough to train with Pino Signorretto, a Muranese glass master. combining steel and blown glass, two labor intensive mediums. When exhibiting one year at the Art Expo in New York, Peter Max approached him and was taken with his edgy style of art. He stated it was a fresh and memorable look. Nick Ruhlman has been a professional artist for 25 years, resides in Florida where he owns his fully equipped glass and metal studio where the work is created in collaboration with his wife Diane.Explore more
