New Star Recreation Services

New Star Recreation Services (NSRS) is a special recreation cooperative of Broadview, Calumet Memorial, Dolton, Maywood, and Riverdale Park Districts, as well as the Village of South Holland Recreational Services Department and New Star. New Star is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit community organization dedicated to challenging the limits and changing th... e lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. NSRS was organized to provide recreation and leisure programs for children through adults with disabilities and special needs in South Cook County. NSRS is proud to announce that we have two new member districts that are a part of our cooperative. Boradview Park District and Maywood Park District joined in May 2019. We are very excited to announce that in May of 2019, Broadview and Maywood Park Districts joined the NSRS cooperative. We have expanded our programming to where we have a NSRS North, which covers Broadview and Maywood and NSRS South which covers Calumet City, Dolton, Riverdale and South Holland. Each region has its own seasonal brochure.
