Long Term Human Survival requires us to break the light barrier by a factor of 500 or more. EM replaces the static Luminiferous Aether model of antiquity with a dynamic ether model which unifies all the forces of nature from the large scale to the small scale. .which is consumed by massive bodies. The acceleration of Ether toward massive bodies is... the gravity potential. The force of gravity is electromagnetic induction which is only experienced when a body is not accelerating with the medium. A body in free-fall does not experience the force. Because the mechanisms of length contraction and time dilation are known, work-rounds for faster-than-light starship are possible. NE introduces a spherical magnetic field model based on a simple experiment that a high school student can run. This spherical model replaces the toroidal field model of Biot-Savart. This spherical magnetic field model teaches us that inertia and electromagnetic induction are the same phenomenon. This link between inertia and induction naturally lead to an explanation of gravity requiring a consumable medium which was published as the New Gravity paper in 1999. New Gravity was the precursor to Ethereal Mechanics.. An improvement over vector algebra which includes a deterministic vector multiply and divide. This is the only body of mathematics that properly reconciles that vector products result in matrices thus providing the only non-imaginary solution to sqrt(-1) (the GA solution is shown to be gibberish). VA is the unification of all mathematics and is a suitable replacement for vector algebra, quaternions, GA, complex algebra and basic arithmetic (VA in 1 dimension).
