About New Beginnings
New Beginnings provides customized job placement services to adults with developmental disabilities. The goal is to work individually with each person receiving services in order to develop and maximize work related skills in order to attain and maintain successful, competitive, community employment. Support is the key to our success. Our philosophy emphasizes on building positive relationships with employers while creating long term supports and back up services. Each person is assigned an Employment Specialist who helps identify a vocational goal and develop an individualized plan. A resume' is written, interviewing skills practiced and job search activities conducted. Individuals are accompanied to interviews and travel training is provided. The Employment Specialist works with the employer to identify the person's training needs and job-specific supports.
