During high school I attended a large church near my home and worked there as an assistant custodian/janitor. My supervisor was kind, efficient and tolerant of a teen age boy who thought he knew everything. I learned how to clean better, be more efficient and gained a lot of humility. After 4 years at that job I started college. I discovered during college that very few young people know how to clean or be respectful of their surroundings. I think I just felt a need to make the places we work and live look and function better. I love an orderly place that is comfortable and useful. I would like to think quality cleaning is an "art" but that might be a stretch. It is, however, a necessary part of a well ordered world. I would like to help people feel good about the space they live in and hopefully provide opportunities for employment for others who have similar feelings.
