NBD, LLC began back in 2005 as a contracting/consulting business in the embedded electronics arena providing clients with embedded electronic design services. Over the years it was observed that there were many small firms with some interesting ideas but those ideas got nowhere as they did not have the resources, experience, or contacts to make it... happen. These small firms were also encountering roadblocks due to little or no track record. No other firms wanted to take the risk. By around 2014 we realized two important facts. First, business growth wise, there was more opportunity with joint ventures and joint partnerships versus simply client embedded electronic design services. Second, being a small business there is few who understood the risks as well as we do.
