Navy Crew Camp

We are excited to announce our rowing camps for the 2021 summer season. Due to health restrictions at the Naval Academy, we are hosting Day Camps only for this summer. We have produced a variety of day camps catered to all the different types of Navy Crew campers; from experienced racers to the complete novice learning how to row! LEARN-TO-ROW Day... Camp (June 21-25): CAMP FULL - WAITLIST ONLY. This camp is for pure novices or campers with very limited experience. Campers will receive a comprehensive introduction to the sport, moving from land training, to our training barges, to a racing shell by the end of the week. 3-Day Experienced Day Camp (June 28-30): CAMP FULL - WAITLIST ONLY. This is a camp for experienced rowers who are local or traveling in to visit the Naval Academy. Even though we are not offering housing, this camp is set up for families to spend a short stay in Annapolis at a nearby hotel while having their son meet the Navy coaches and get a behind-the-scenes look at the Naval Academy. This camp's rowing focus will be on individual stroke development and low to medium intensity training. 5-Day Experienced Day Camp (July 19-23): CAMP FULL - WAITLIST ONLY. Similar to the 3-Day camp, this session will focus on individual stroke development and low to medium intensity training. This camp would be perfect for local campers from Maryland and the Northern Virginia areas. Open to campers who have completed our Learn-to-Row session earlier in the summer. The United States Naval Academy Athletic Association is proud to present the 28th annual Navy Crew Camp for Boys. To maximize individual attention, enrollment is limited so early application is encouraged. The Navy Crew Camp is conducted on the grounds of the historic Naval Academy, located in Annapolis, Maryland. Campers will be thoroughly schooled in all aspects of rowing - technically, mentally, and physically. As one of the least expensive camps in the nation, Navy remains the premier rowing experience.
